Jason Newport joined Fleishman-Hillard in November 2005 as Vice President, Wireless Communications/NGT. Jason brings eight years of experience in youth and wireless marketing, specializing in brand strategy, business development, product marketing, special events, e-mail marketing, acquisition, and retention. He currently works on the Cingular Wireless account.
Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, Jason managed the Columbia House DVD Club where he was responsible for developing youth segmentation, direct mail, e-mail, Web, and contact center promotions for the core Columbia House profit center.
Previously, Jason Newport managed the AT&T Wireless account at Quinn Fable Advertising, Inc. As a dedicated account representative, he developed and managed acquisition activities related to all AT&T Wireless enterprise and youth initiatives and established successful partnerships with leading technology companies including IBM, Microsoft, Research In Motion (RIM BlackBerry), Palm, and Dell.
Jason was instrumental in bringing one of the first licensed ringtone libraries to market when he managed the development and promotion of youth and lifestyle wireless products at i3 Mobile, Inc. He also played a key role in product development and marketing of a portfolio of youth-facing SMS and MMS products for AT&T Wireless and Voicestream (T-Mobile).
Jason is a graduate of Indiana State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in marketing.
