Thanks to a variety of new products and widgets young people can place all of their favorite sites and activities together all in one destination. As a result social network sites are becoming the hub for multiple facets of a young person’s life.
Slide is a great example as a young person can deliver photos, news and entertainment directly to their SNS page in the form of a slide show. Odeo’s customizable MP3 player puts Odeo podcasts wherever you want them and Bebo’s deal with Skype integrates VOIP functionality directly onto a young person’s Bebo page. Dandelife is the complete package as they function as a Social Biography Network. The site enables users to place every event in their life into a time line that aggregates their photos, videos, SNS profiles, tags, and RSS feeds.
