Today’s youth have grown up with the world at their fingertips–literally. Internet and mobile are like oxygen for most. UGC is breaking down any barriers to communication. As a result, this generation has come together, forming what we call the Global Youth Tribe–a hyperconnected clique with common interests, habits and needs.
Digital media allows them to experience identification and individuality simultaneously. These are core needs of Tribe members, along with:

- Knowledge
- Recognition of talent
- Discovery
- Access to unique content
- Belonging
- Self expression
As the Global Youth Tribe continues to grow–they are fast becoming the largest demographic in the world–we’ll only see more ways to fulfill these needs. MySpace, Flickr, Facebook, LX.tv, Second Life, IM, blogs, vlogs, podcasts, mobile apps… They are only the beginning!
