Multitasking was once the buzzword for teen media consumption, but in 2007 it will be all about engagement. This generation has grown up in a digital world and thanks to years of multitasking they can process multiple streams of information simultaneously.
Now marketers need to engage teens on a much deeper level and truly integrate into their culture. We must enhance and credibly engage their communities. At FH Youth we have coordinated dozens of programs that bring young people into a community relationship with our client’s including recruiting program on Facebook for Ernst & Young and a partnership between Cingular Wireless and Myspace.
As we start to hear more and more about virtual worlds and avatar-based communities, the concept of engagement and community integration is really going to explode.
