WiMax Coming to NYC [Wired]
Samsung and Sprint are bringing fourth-generation high speed internet to New York (score!) The network, which already powers much of Asia, will be launched next April under the brand name Xohm. WiMax is much better suited to mobile than than W-fi, providing better penetration, connection quality and video viewing.
