Microsoft continues to ride the success of the Xbox 360 following the release of numerous hit games last year. While the 360 shows no signs of a decline, it is rumored that Microsoft is already prepping for the future.
In the February issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly (as reported by 1up.com) a sequel is in the works for an undisclosed first party game from Microsoft. However the game is being made for the next version of the Xbox, their third, which is yet to be revealed. Already gaming enthusiasts are looking forward to this newer (and better?) gaming platform.
This leaked information from Microsoft hints that they are racing to stay ahead of Nintendo’s Wii, which has soared in popularity all over the world. Even the Queen of England herself is following trend–Buckingham Palace now has a royal Wii Bowling alley.
