Movements Control Range of Gadgets [Mobile Tech Today]
NGT first mentioned GestureTek’s motion-controlled mobile products when they were presented at last year’s CTIA Wireless convention. GestureTek games allow the user to play by using a range of movements. For instance, certain Verizon subscribers can already play a game that involves rolling a ball through a maze by moving their phones. Movement control and touch sensitive interface have already been highlighted as growing trends in cell phones (iPhone), gaming (Wii) and computing (Microsoft Surface). Movement control mobile gaming is a natural progression. Two Japanese cell phones released in May already feature Wii-style bowling.
